Whilst spending six days in an Ontologischen Klinik all he could think of was if a mixture of a pony and a rabbit would be called a pobbit.

A pobbit? I would have been thinking of how could the pony and the rabbit have created it in the forst place.
Well, I guess a Shetland and one of these might manage okay...
Mind you, if I remember correctly, that might technically be a lop, in which case I suppose they'd be producing lots and lots of furry little pops instead.
Which is almost too cute for words.
